SALVATION

Today IS The Day of Salvation

Salvation is the most important decision of your life. It’s not religion,

it’s a relationship with the living God.

The Good News

God’s plan of salvation

The Bible tells one clear, life-changing story. These four truths show how you can know God personally.

01

God loves you

God created you with purpose and loves you with an everlasting love. He sent His Son so that you could know Him personally.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 (KJV)

02

Sin separates us from God

Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. No amount of good works or religion can close that gap on its own.

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

03

Jesus paid the price

Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. His sacrifice opened the way back to the Father.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 (KJV)

04

Receive Him by faith

Salvation is a gift you receive, not a reward you earn. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:9 (KJV)

A prayer of salvation

Prayer this prayer with me

“Heavenly Father, I come to You today acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Today, I receive Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. Wash me with Your blood, write my name in the Book of Life, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. From today, I am born again. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.”

Questions

Questions you may have

New beginnings bring honest questions. Here are answers to the ones we hear most often. If yours is not here, we would be glad to talk with you.

To be saved is to be rescued from sin and its penalty and brought into a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life.

No. God receives you just as you are. Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9). As you walk with Him, the Holy Spirit changes you from the inside out.

Your assurance rests on God’s Word, not on your feelings. The Bible promises that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).

If you are unsure where you stand with God, you can settle it today. Pray sincerely, trust His promise, and let us know, so that we can encourage you as you grow.

Baptism is an important step of obedience in which you publicly declare your faith in Jesus (Matthew 28:19). Speak with a local church, such as KMC, The Healthy Church, about being baptised.
